    Academy

    The Academy of Dog Training and Agility began their web presence using a site donated by one of their students.  It was rudimentary and was not being updated with the latest information.  A website needs to be visually engaging, and must provide ongoing, pertinent information to the clients and the public.  Timely updates are critical and required to keep folks viewing.

    Now their site has everything they want!  As content is received, we expand their site with more dimensions!

    EZU

    EZU Signs had gone through 2 websites, with the last website being a template-driven site provided by one of the storefront web companies.  This site was vanilla, lacking any personality and difficult to use.  They continued to promote their business at dog shows as a vendor, since the site was not generating enough business.

    Now, their site has personality, and web sales have improved so much that they no longer go to dog shows!

    Magnolia Baskets

    Denise Bendelewski has been producing space dyed and solid dyed reed and cane, plus basket weaving for over 30 years and wanted to let the world know about her products, skills and classes. She now teaches basket weaving and organizes a retreat 3 times a year to help everyone with basket weaving! Lie she says, "Where It's Always a Great Day to Dye!"

    Now, her site has personality, and web sales have improved so much and her retreats are fully booked!

    Seaspell

    This is our kennel website, Seaspell Whippets, with photos from some of the litters as well as a few life adventures we have experienced with our parents. Our whippets are our kids, and we truly enjoy being with our whippets at dog shows, lure coursing events, or just taking long walks! Our kennel is the continuation of my Mom's vision, Judith Britton.

    Now, our site has more photos, stories and we will continue to add to this window on our world!

    Veterinary Association

    Veterinary Association Management also started using a website years ago, designed and maintained by a local company, but as time passed, the site looked dated and updates took forever.  As we are exhibitors at their veterinary conferences, and they had reviewed our sites, they immediately engaged our services to create a fresh look, and better functionality. We designed and created their website from scratch, with an eye to veterinarians and the younger generation (staff at veterinary hospitals), and this site now brings in over 90% of their business!

    Whip Hill

    The whippet kennel, Whip Hill Whippets, owned by Hillary Frank had a very dated website, and the previous web designer was not able to update the site due to life changes. With help from the web designer and Hillary, we started on a journey to create a modern, appealing website that communicated Hillary's love of whippets, and her whippets' accomplishments. Our challenge was to use a template driven site at its current web hosting servers, showing how well we adapt to our clients’ requirements. As updates are paramount to a good website, we continue to provide timely updates in the same motif.

    Our Latest Web Creation, Evolving as We Speak

     

    Like any proud parent, we couldn't be more happy with our latest baby.

    We spend hours, days, weeks, months and years working with our clients to produce the sites they want.  It's no different with Whip Hill Whippets, to produce a website to spread the word about his educational and comic shows for all ages!  The critical first step is creation, working extremely hard to get the initial site up and running, so that it can help spread the word as the site continually evolves with new content.

    Hillary Frank, Breeder, Owner, Handler. I grew up in Baltimore and was always surrounded by dogs, mostly Miniature Schnauzers. I took riding lessons and competed in Hunter Jumper competition. I galloped two-year old Thoroughbreds at Timonium Race Track, competed in Dressage and became the Chair of the Potomac Valley Dressage Association Southern Maryland Chapter. In 1976, I graduated from the Baltimore School of Barbering and in 1980 got my Cosmetology license and have enjoyed a 45-year career as a cosmetologist/master barber. In 1986, I opened a small salon in Annapolis, Md. I eventually closed my salon and worked as an independent contractor at another salon for 14 years. In 2003, I opened a successful salon in my home. My first whippet, Reba, came to me in a roundabout way. Barbara Henderson, VMD, of Whippoorwill had no puppies available and she gave me the contact information for Karen Lee of Surrey Hill Whippets. The second whippet Nicholas came from Kim Tudor-Fredericks of Laurel Chase Whippets. I competed in Obedience and soon purchased my third whippet Jackson from Dr. Barbara Henderson of Whippoorwill. This dog became my heart dog until his passing at nearly 14 years of age. I joined the American Whippet Club in 2000. I bred my first whippet litter in 2007 and my second in 2013. All the pups are doing fine and I keep in touch with the owners to see how things are going. In 2014, I co-chaired the AWC National Specialty in Hunt Valley Maryland with Pat Spinazzola from Panache Whippets as my Chair. We hosted a wonderful event and for the most part it went off without a hitch. I have had much success showing Pretzel and Jona Gold, both bred by Iva Kimmelman of Merci Isle Whippets. Pretzel came to live at Whip Hill on Labor Day 2014. This was the beginning of my wonderful relationship with Iva. Merci Isle Jona Gold came to me to be shown on Memorial Day 2015. She finished quickly and is now back at Merci Isle. I was fortunate enough to co-breed a litter with Iva that was whelped in April 2015. I have had tremendous mentoring from Iva for which I am truly grateful. In 2018, I semi-retired and moved to Delaware where I continue to breed and raise whippets.
